Nationwide Video Production Across China
One contract, one producer, one standard — whether your project spans three factories in three provinces or a roadshow through six cities.
Many China projects don't fit inside one city. A supplier documentation program covering factories in Jiangsu, Guangdong and Sichuan. A dealer roadshow hitting six cities in three weeks. Regional office films for every China location of a multinational. Sourcing a separate local vendor for each stop means separate quotes, separate contracts, and footage that cuts together like it came from different companies — because it did.
BTVS runs multi-city projects from a single production office in Beijing. You sign one English contract, receive one itemized quote and work with one producer who plans every location. Behind that, we deploy a mix of our own crews in the major cities and vetted regional partners elsewhere — all shooting to the same technical spec, shot lists and delivery standards, so footage from Qingdao matches footage from Chongqing.
For secondary cities without resident crews, we send travel teams: a core unit of director of photography, sound and producer flies or takes high-speed rail from Beijing or Shanghai, supplemented by local hands where needed. China's rail network makes this cheaper than most clients expect — and always cheaper than flying a crew in from abroad.
BTVS Production provides vetted bilingual camera crews in China, including Directors of Photography, camera operators, sound recordists, drone operators, production assistants and English-speaking fixers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou and other major Chinese cities.

Frequently asked questions
How does pricing work for a multi-city project?+
One itemized quote covering every city: per-location crew and gear rates plus transparent travel line items. You are not stitching together six vendor quotes, and volume across cities is priced accordingly.
Can you really keep the footage consistent across different cities and crews?+
Yes — that is the core of the service. Every location shoots to the same camera spec, lighting approach and shot list, a single producer supervises across cities, and all footage is graded and edited by one post team in Beijing.
What about cities where you don't have your own crew?+
We either send a travel crew from Beijing or Shanghai or deploy a regional partner we have vetted and worked with before — usually a blend, with our producer or DP anchoring the unit. You never source or manage a local vendor yourself.
How much lead time does a multi-city program need?+
As a rule of thumb, two to three weeks for a two-or-three-city project and four to six weeks for larger programs, mostly driven by facility approvals and scheduling at each stop. Compressed timelines are possible when locations confirm quickly.
